Glitter tattoos are safe, temporary forms of body art, generally last 3 to 7 days, though this can vary depending on the quality of the materials, application, and care.

How they're made: Proper application by a skilled artist, skin-safe, often latex-free, adhesive is applied over a stencil, and then cosmetic-grade glitter is carefully brushed on to create the design.

Aftercare: Glitter tattoos are waterproof. Gentle washing, avoiding harsh scrubbing or rubbing, and patting the area dry after swimming can extend the life of the tattoo. Avoid to using alcohol-based products, lotions, or oils on the area, as this can cause the tattoo to fade or lift.

How to remove a glitter tattoo: If you want to remove your glitter tattoo sooner, you can do so easily with an oil-based product. rubbing alcohol, baby oil, and eucalyptus oil. Alternatively, light scrubbing with an exfoliant or warm saltwater can also remove the tattoo.
